Decaffeinato Decaf Espresso Beans [2.2 lb/1kg]

I was encouraged by the glowing reviews I'd seen of this decaf espresso, especially given how hard it is to find decaf that is delightful to drink. When I tried it, at first, I did not understand the enthusiasm. I like my shots more on the ristretto side, and I found that the tobacco flavor was just overwhelming, leaving an unpleasant bite at the end. On a whim, I tried a longer shot, sure I had nothing to lose, and that made all the difference. The previously overbearing tobacco blended in with other flavors, and the finish was now delightful. Also, impressive crema. If you're ready to accept a longer shot (more what you'd find in France, say), you'll be rewarded with lovely espresso.

After 50 years of brewing, eureka! Except for the absence of the jolt, this miscela creates a cup almost indistinguishable from the best caffeinated beans. Crema, aroma, mouthfeel and taste are all superb.

I think I got a sample package of Miscela D'Oro Gusto Classico beans years ago with an espresso machine purchase and loved it. I tried the decaf espresso beans shortly after and love it and have been buying Decaffeinato Decaf Expresso Beans exclusively ever since.

Flavor is so good that I have successfully snuck 25-30% decaf beans into the grinder without my over-caffeinated insomniac partner noticing. Working towards 50%!

I finally found my decaf espresso! This is bar none the best coffee I have ever had.

These coffee beans yield a rich, smooth espresso with thick crema and the aroma is heavenly! It's hard to believe the espresso made from this product is decaffeinated. Superb!

No bitterness- don't realize it's decaffeinated!

Solid Decaf espresso beans, good consistency and flavor. Since we try to limit our caffeine intake we find it is easy to change from Decaf to Caffeinated Miscela D’oro beans without the need to completely clear the grinder.
